These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Arab Lens website and services. By using our website, submitting any form, or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Our services
The Arab Lens provides editorial features that spotlight professionals and companies, recruitment services under Lens Talent, career advisory services through the Career Studio, and the Executives Club membership network. We may add, change, or discontinue any service at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. If you submit information on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3. Submissions and content
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information and materials you submit, and you confirm they are yours to share. By submitting materials for a feature, you grant The Arab Lens a non-exclusive license to edit, publish, and promote that content across our platforms. We apply editorial standards and may decline, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are shown on our website and may be displayed in your local currency. Payment is processed securely through a third-party payment provider, and we do not store your card details. All fees are due at the time of purchase and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
5. No refunds
All payments are final. Fees for features, recruitment services, Career Studio packages and add-ons, and memberships are non-refundable once a service has been purchased or work has begun, including where a submission is later edited or declined for editorial reasons. This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law.
6. Recruitment services
For employers, we facilitate the advertising of roles and the introduction of candidates. We assess candidates on the relevance of their experience and the strength of their track record, but we do not guarantee any hire or outcome. Some services, including shortlisting, may require further discussion with our team to define the role. For the Sharp Focus service, delivery is limited to a maximum of two submissions per role, with each submission consisting of three candidates.
7. Career Studio
The Career Studio is a candidate advisory service covering career documents, digital presence, personal branding, and interview readiness. It is an advisory service only: we do not place candidates in roles, we do not apply to jobs or contact recruiters on your behalf, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, or salary outcomes. Deliverables are prepared from information you provide and confirm as accurate, and the final documents delivered to you are yours to keep and use. Each package includes the sessions and revision rounds described on the Career Studio page, and add-ons are billed separately once agreed with your consultant. The Career Studio operates independently of our recruitment services, and purchasing a package does not influence the assessment of any application made through The Arab Lens or its hiring channels. The complimentary feature included in The Spotlight package is granted only where a profile meets our editorial standard, at the sole discretion of our editorial team.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website, other than materials you submit, is owned by The Arab Lens and may not be copied or reused without permission.
9. Third-party services
Our services may involve third parties, such as publishers, recruitment agencies, advisors, payment providers, and other service providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of any third-party service.
10. Disclaimer
Our website and services are provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Arab Lens, its owners, and its team accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or services, including any decision made in reliance on a feature, an introduction, or a candidate. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify The Arab Lens against any claim arising from the materials you submit or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the courts of England and Wales.
